See Sorin Oak
One of the oldest trees in Austin, our beloved Sorin Oak is a favorite spot for a midday break between classes.

Shop Like a Student
Living on campus provides countless amenities like the Grab & Goat, a one-stop shop for healthy, on-the-go meals and snacks.

Admire Austin
Head to Main Building’s steps for the best view of the Austin skyline. If it’s a scorcher outside, the third floor of Fleck Hall offers air-conditioned views.
![Two students sit outside in the Village patio area and smile as they look at a tablet.](/sites/default/files/styles/text_block_grid/public/2024-07/8.%20is20190409_StEds_0495_maxWidth_2000_maxHeight_2000_ppi_300_quality_100.jpg?h=6a2f30e2&itok=cxXpY0YD)
Snap a Selfie
The Residential Village’s patio provides a vibrant backdrop for pictures. If you stop in Fleck Hall, you’ll find the best selfie lighting in its bathrooms. The red doors of Main Building make for a great photo op too.
